US-Africa Leaders Summit
The Great Lakes Institute for Strategic Studies (GLISS) is hosting an off-the-record briefing session on the US-Africa Leaders Summit scheduled to take place in Washington, D.C on August 4-6, 2014. The session is designed to provide an opportunity for Ugandans from the civil society, private sector and the media to exchange views and information on the goals and expected outcomes of the Summit.

In view of the challenges of resource mobilization and allocation to different national needs, this paper sets out to describe the process of selecting budget priorities in Uganda.
